Horse Speak®
Academy
Horse Speak is a practical system specializing in the art and science of the micro-gestures of Precise Equine Body Language Skills (PEBLS) based on 20 years of evidence-based research with domestic and wild horses.
Horse Speak opens the gate to the inner world of the horse from their perspective instead of expecting them to understand ours.
You will learn to understand what horses are saying to each other and how you can imitate their nuanced body language.
You will discover specific and practical skills for you and your horse to reach your highest potential regardless of discipline or skill level.

I thought I had a Clue By: Wendy D. from Massachusetts
I have been riding and caring for horses for over 50 years and I didn’t have a clue which my new horse has made painfully clear.
I bought an upper level dressage, ex-bullfighting Lusitano who ended up having PTSD.
I had never met a horse like him.
I tried many of the usual things….vet checks, body workers, trainers, both dressage and natural horsemanship in person and online, and clicker training.
He was defensive which led to aggression (I had to carry a stick when leading him because what felt like it was out of nowhere, he would start attacking me.
I now know, because I am learning Horse Speak, it was because I was out of position.
We now enjoy long walks together through woods and fields with my dogs and he can let me know if I need to change my position for his comfort), he was angry, explosive and reactive (I learned I wasn’t providing him with safety and protection messages which Sharon has taught me how to do and we can now work through his big emotions without him becoming dangerous),and he is incredibly sensitive to energy (he was impossible to groom because he didn’t want to be touched and would bite and kick.
Horse Speak has taught me how to scan myself and be more aware of myself and my energy and he now enjoys grooming). I was struggling to find a way to connect and help him.
He would do his job but was very tense, spooky and unhappy. I was incredibly frustrated and was considering selling him.
Luckily, I found Sharon, Laura and Horse Speak. They are amazing and I can go on and on about them. Watch anything you can with Sharon and you’ll want to learn from her. I loved the books, the depth of knowledge and the lessons. Sharon is a fun and fabulous teacher. She has consistently over delivered, inspired and impressed. Learning Horse Speak has changed everything.
It has educated, informed and transformed me and therefore my horse is changing.
It is not a training method but uplifts any training you do.
From Sharon and Laura, the online courses, the books, webinars, workshops and helpful zoom calls I’ve learned to use my empathy, energy and presence to create safe and peaceful interactions with my horse.
I’ve learned to listen and respond accordingly as he is speaking.
I’m now understanding him in a way I’ve never understood another horse and I’ve had many great ones.
